Keimei Gakuen is a multicultural campus where students from over 40 countries and regions, including returnees, foreign nationals, and international students, learn together. This diverse environment allows students to learn about, and share, many different cultures and values. Navigating this diversity can present challenges, as classmates may have different ways of communicating. Because of this, we place high value on learning about languages and cultures, as well as developing broad communication skills. Keimei Gakuen has teachers from more than ten countries and students from more than forty countries interacting on a daily basis and practicing the real-world skills of multicultural communication.

Our International Education Center provides small-group tutoring to help students who lived overseas to catch up with their peers. In the International English Course, qualified native teachers deliver classes based on international academic standards such as those in the UK and U.S.A. Students read a wide variety of texts, from classics to modern literature, and discussing and writing compositions with aims to improve their English language and critical thinking skills. Keimei Gakuen also prepares students for major English proficiency tests such as EIKEN, TOEFL, SAT, and IELTS. Furthermore, students can take maintenance classes in several languages to build on the foreign language knowledge they already have.

As a member of the Round Square international cooperation group, Keimei Gakuen offers many opportunities for international students to interact with peers on- and off-campus. These include sending students to competitions and conferences around the world, English camps, and speech contests. Internal school events such as the annual debate contest and China Day provide opportunities for all students to increase their appreciation of various cultures and languages. Our system provides a unique atmosphere where mutual understanding and cooperation breed, mixed with high expectations, create globally-minded citizens prepared for the future. Keimei Gakuen graduates have been accepted to acclaimed universities all over the world, a testament to the skills and knowledge they acquire here.
